Here is the YWAMers Reunited Privacy Policy, which all users must read and accept. It is a legal
document which sets out how YWAMers Reunited handles data which identifies you. It should
be read in conjunction with the YWAMers Reunited User Agreement of which this

We, at YWAMers Reunited, understand and respect that your privacy should always remain strictly under your control. It is because of this philosophy that you can be confident that the information you divulge to YWAMers Reunited will not be accessible to people whom you have not authorised. Neither will it be sold or otherwise distributed to third parties other than in accordance with this policy without your consent. YWAMers Reunited is not a source of unsolicited email.

To protect your privacy, all e-mails are sent via YWAMers Reunited. Your e-mail address will only be shown if you send, or reply to a message. Plus, we don't send unsolicited e-mail and we NEVER pass your details onto other companies.

1. What personal details do you need to know?
The minimum of information we ask for YWAMers Reunited is your full name, your e-mail address, the year you completed your DTS, the base where you completed your DTS. You can also choose to provide some optional notes about yourself ("Registration Information"). You may update this information at any time by simply logging into your member profile and updating the details as you wish.

2. When is my information given out?
Your information is NOT given out without your prior knowlegde. Fully subscribed members are unable to view your 'sensitive' personal profile details. To protect your e-mail address from spamming, we do NOT directly make your e-mail address available to anyone on any part of the YWAMers Reunited website. The only legitimate way of making contact with a friend found on the YWAMers Reunited Service is for a 'fully subscribed' member to enter a message which we will send on the member's behalf. The recipient will receive the message and the sender's e-mail address to enable them to send a reply.

3. What do you use my personal details for?
We will use your e-mail address to contact you from time to time and we will use your eimail address for security reasons to confirm that you are who you say you are. We also collect other data, which may include your IP address and what browser you are using for statistical purposes, to monitor site usage, to better improve the compatibility of our website and your internet browser settings. It is compiled and analysed on an aggregated basis only.

4. Does YWAMers Reunited sell my information to third parties?
We, and (where relevant) our credit card processing agents, as a matter of policy, will NOT sell, rent or lend ANY of your personal data to a third party for commercial exploitation - thus, you can rest assured that we will not sell the lists of our Members' e-mail addresses to a third party; and
the only circumstances in which we will provide ANY of your personal data to a third party for non-commercial purposes without your consent are those contained in this Privacy Policy.
However, the following describes some of the ways that your personal information may be used in the normal routine to provide our range of services to you...
A. Newsletters - We have regular and occasional e-mails, which members can decide to receive or not, according to their preferences. This option is selected through your member profile.
B. Credit Card information - To ensure the security of your Credit Card information, we have decided to use Paypal, who operate a secure server, to process our credit card payments. They encrypt members' credit or debit card information and authorise payment directly. This means that members' credit card details are never revealed to us.
C. Companies in the YWAMers Reunited group - We may share data supplied by you (or collected about you) with our subsidiaries and other companies in our group, but only for the purposes described in this policy.
D. Advertisers - We may disclose non-personally identifiable aggregated (gathered data across all member accounts) information to other third parties. An example of non-personally identifiable information would be 'the number of members who completed their DTS in 2003'.
E. Service Management - We use your personal information to provide the services you request. We use your personal information to: troubleshoot problems; measure consumer interest in our services, inform you about offers, products, services, and updates; customize your experience; detect and protect us against error, fraud and other criminal activity; enforce our User Agreement; and as otherwise described to you at the time of collection.
* You agree that we may use personal information about you to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, to analyse site usage, improve our content and product offerings, and customise the Site's content, layout, and services. These uses improve the Site and better tailor it to meet your needs, so as to provide you with a smooth, efficient, safe and customized experience while using the Site, and;
* You agree that we may use your personal information to contact you and deliver information to you that may be of interest to you, such as: administrative notices, product offerings, and communications relevant to your use of the Site. By accepting the User Agreement and Privacy Policy, you expressly agree to receive this information. You may make changes to your e-mail notification preferences at any time.
F. Internal Service Providers for Our Operations - We may use third parties that we refer to as internal service providers to facilitate one or more aspects of the business, product and service operations that we provide to you (e.g. search technology) and therefore we may provide some of your personal information directly to these internal service providers. These internal service providers' are subject to confidentiality agreements with us and other legal restrictions that prohibit their use of the information we provide them for any other purpose except to facilitate the specific YWAMers Reunited related operation, unless you have explicitly agreed or given your prior permission to them for additional uses. In some instances, the internal service provider may collect information directly from you. In these cases, you will be notified of the involvement of the internal service provider, and all additional information you provide them and their additional uses will be strictly up to you. If you provide ad ditional information to an internal service provider directly, then their use of your personal information is governed by their applicable privacy policy.
G. Disclosure for legal reasons - YWAMers Reunited co-operates with law enforcement enquiries, as well as other third parties to enforce laws. We reserve the right to communicate such of a member's personal information as we hold to third parties which seek the disclosure of it, and which make a legally-compliant request by law enforcement or other government officials to YWAMers Reunited for it's disclosure.
H. Security - We have security measures in place to protect our customer database and access to this database is restricted internally. However, it remains each member's responsibility:
- to protect against unauthorised access to your profile;
- to ensure against use by anyone else, of the YWAMers Reunited Service through the machine that a member uses while they are "logged on" to the YWAMers Reunited website;
- to log off or exit from the YWAMers Reunited website when not using it; and
- to keep his/her password secret.
I. Data Retention Period - We will retain your personal data only as long as is necessary for the purposes to which you consent under the YWAMers Reunited User Agreement and this Privacy Policy, or as is required by applicable law, after which it will be deleted.

5. Will I be added to any mailing lists?
We do not sell, rent or lend e-mail addresses for any other purpose than in direct association with your use of the YWAMers Reunited service or as otherwise described in this privacy policy.

6. Do you send unsolicited e-mails?
YWAMers Reunited will not send any unsolicited information, including e-mail. You will, however receive occasional e-mails from us to notify you of essential information.

7. What do you use cookies for?
Cookies are a standard internet technology, and many major web sites use them to provide useful features for their members. Cookies allow us to store and retrieve login information on a user's system. They provide us with data that we can use to improve our service to you. If you so choose, you can save your login or password so you don't have to re-enter them each time you visit our site.
Cookies themselves do not personally identify users, although they do identify a user's computer. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. If you prefer, you can set yours to refuse cookies, however, you may not be able to take full advantage of the YWAMers Reunited website if you do so.

8. How will I be notified of changes?
We may amend this Privacy Policy or our User Agreement at any time by posting the amended terms on the website. All amended terms shall automatically be effective immediately after posting on the website. We will notify you in accordance with your notification preferences.

You always have the option not to become a fully subscribed member or to cancel your membership at any time. Should you decide to cancel your membership, any outstanding fees already paid will NOT be refunded.
